We make our clothes the right way – with a focus on the environment and people.

We make our clothes the right way – with a focus on the environment and people.

We will not solve the clothing industry issues by just “going organic”, this is not enough as this is just one part of the equation. We choose to never over-produce and stick to made to order only, we choose to source fabrics and produce only locally, we choose to be socially responsible and make a positive change around us in Lithuania.

We want to prove it can be done differently.

No stock, we only produce when you need it!

Truly made to order, that’s the most challenging for us but our mission is to make it possible and available.
We do not create stock. No stock means minimised overproduction, reduced waste and no stock destruction at any cost. Items are produced only after they have been ordered, this way meeting the customer’s true need.
We always try to use all our linen leftovers, create special items with them, create gifts for you and, when pieces are so small we cannot create anything with them, we keep thinking how it could be used and we give them away to someone who will use them in a diy project.

Our weekly production capacity is limited to approximately 250 pieces.

This is what we can do and we do not accept to do more. This way we choose to keep our quality, to not externalise our production to a factory far away, in other words to keep it at a convivial and socially acceptable scale.

We endorse and empower female artisans working independently.

We take immense pride in our team of cutters, seamstresses and embroiderers. Some are full-time professionals, while others sew or embroider around their family responsibilities. Currently, our team is made of approximately 40 skilled women who either work in our studio in Vilnius, Lithuania or from the comfort of their homes.

Organic, washed and extra soft linen

Our linen is not just eco-friendly; it’s also OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring it’s free from harmful substances. After crafting our garments, we soften and wash them using non-toxic, biodegradable soap, underlining our commitment to both people and the planet.

Linen’s natural attributes make it a versatile choice. It offers exceptional breathability and moisture-resistance, ensuring comfort in sweltering summers and warmth during the colder months. Its hypoallergenic nature means it’s gentle on the most sensitive skin, and its inherent resistance to dirt and soap sediments maintains its hygiene. Additionally, organic linen is hailed as one of the most sustainable fibers, leaving minimal waste, consuming less water, and needing no pesticides or chemicals to grow.

In terms of durability, linen is exceptional. It boasts high abrasion resistance and doesn’t shrink, fade, or lose its shape with washing; instead, it becomes even more comfortable over time. This longevity means linen garments can be cherished for generations and passed down as heirlooms.

Extra soft and warm Alpaca Wool

Alpaca wool offers a gentle touch that doesn’t trigger allergic reactions or irritation, making it ideal for sensitive skin.

Despite its softness, alpaca is highly breathable, combining insulation and isolation. It regulates body temperature by keeping warmth in during the cold and preventing overheating in the heat, making it a versatile choice year-round.

Unlike other wools such as sheep’s wool and cashmere, alpaca wool doesn’t absorb moisture. Its unique structure repels water, keeping fabric dry and minimizing sweating. This quality also contributes to its resistance to odors.

Alpaca wool is exceptionally long-lasting, reducing the need for frequent replacements and lessening waste.

This fabric doesn’t form unsightly pills or wrinkles, making Alpaca items easy to maintain and keeping them looking clean and fresh for longer periods.

Machine for our embroideries? No! It’s all done by hand!

Most of our embroidery patterns are designed by our dear Japanese friend Kazuko Aoki. She is not only an extraordinary artist but also a passionate gardener. Her unconditional love for nature is her main source of inspiration and can be easily felt in every design. Indeed, she is able to translate animals, butterflies or leaves on the canvas and make them shine on their own. She is able to translate animals, bugs or plants to the canvas, making them feel alive in a paper garden of their own.

Using traditional skills, our team embroiders each piece by hand. On average, one embroidery takes about 75 minutes to make. Being made by a human’s hand, each of them is slightly different from the other, making each of them one of a kind.

Packaging you can compost rather than trash to the bin.

Our packaging is minimised and plastic-free: each item is packed in a paper wrap and closed with a piece of linen rope. Then we mail it in an envelop made from corn starch, which is non-toxic and breaks down within six months in home compost.
